"The How and Why of Pourquoi Folktales" Workshop


After explaining what how-and-why stories are, Harlynne Geisler will tell a few examples. Classroom exercise: workshop participants will create an explanation, i.e., story, from the titles of actual folktales. Concerts and workshops also available on “Folktales from Around the World.” In the folktales workshop Harlynne Geisler explains what a reversal-of-fortune story is, etc.
